Great product and outstanding customer service. Looking forward to my next purchase. 0 people found this helpfulI have purchased this about a couple years ago and sounds wonderful. This is a great quality made instrument and can't beat the price. The service The Ukelele Site provides was outstanding as well. I had also received a low G string as well at no cost. This was recommended for me to start off with and I highly recommend this to others as well.

I would buy it again. 0 people found this helpfulThe TM20 was the first Ukulele I bought, before I even knew HMS existed. (I bought a Kala Cedar Top from MGM about a week later.) The only thing I found (past tense) less than stellar about the instrument was the tuners, which tended to be a bit flakey, but loved the sound and feel right out of the box. I've had my TM20 for 3 years now, and the tuners are solid - I took it out of the case after not playing it for a month (I have a lot of ukuleles now!) and it was still in tune! Great intonation all the way up the neck to the 10th fret on all of the strings, and just a joy to play. Will it ever replace my KoAloha, Kala, Resonator, or Donaldson Custom? Nope. But I will bring it out to play gigs without worrying about bad sound, and if something happened to it, I would buy another one from HMS today.

Serious Beginner 0 people found this helpfulFirst bought an Oscar Schmidt OU3 off of the internet. BAD mistake. After several weeks research, I decided on the Cordoba 20TM. I wanted a tenor size with the solid wood sound. I'm very happy with my decision. I may try to move up later, but if not this will suffice for a long time. HMS was no mistake at all, in fact I chose them due to the set up on every instrument. Price was competitive and shipping was lightning fast. Service was great and answers were answered with just a call. Will buy from them again.

Good beginner uke, but I went with another. 0 people found this helpfulI was this close to buying this Cordoba Tenor. First, the look of this Cordoba is gorgeous - the warm tone of the wood, and details around the sound hole.. it's flawless. And the price is so reasonable for this kind of materials and details. It sounds warm, and it plays comfortably for a beginner uke player like me. I tried playing this tenor at a guitar center, and best buy -- but I think The Ukulele Site setup would make the world of difference for the sound of this uke. It really wasn't worth it to buy it anywhere else. I ended up spending a few extra $$ to buy a Pono Tenor MT... I compared the Pono & Cordoba tenor for about a month to test out the sound... Over time, I noticed Pono had a richer tone, and Cordoba tenor ended up sounding a tad bit shallow. I ended up going with a Pono, but if I didn't compare, I probably would be happy with a Cordoba. I just love the gorgeous travel case that Cordoba tenor comes in, so I bought just the case! It's light-weight, thick padded, has a convenient pocket outside. Perfect for traveling!
