This is the new and improved Oahu clip-on tuner. For the last 5 years the Oahu tuner has been our best selling tuner. This new version has all the features that people love. One button, bright simple display, long-lasting battery, and reliable accurate tuning. The new version is more compact with higher quality materials. The only other difference is that the color of the display turns from red to green when you are in tune.
The Oahu clip-on tuner is a one-button chromatic tuner. It stays in 440 as you need, and tunes anything you can clip it onto. This is our best-selling tuner for good reason. It has a nice big and bright display. It is very easy to use, it is accurate, and they are made to last.
The Oahu Chromatic Tuner is simple to use, and works on all stringed instruments. It lacks some of the unnecessary "bells and whistles" of other tuners that offer optional settings that you don't need and will never use. Ko'olau says "we decided that quality and simplicity (on or off), and of course, affordability is more important." The LCD display has one easy to see color, and when in tune, the needle points to the center, also displaying three additional lines along with three lines to display an in-tune pitch. Also, the clip-on bracket is sturdy and durable.

Quick, easy, accurate and my battery has lasted 1 people found this helpfulI've been using this for about a year now and it has become my go to tuner for both my Ukes. It has been used daily and multiple times some days. I have NOT had battery issues and am still using the same battery it came with. It has been quick to use, very accurate and easy. Now, if I could get my E string to stop stretching ;)

Simple and effective 0 people found this helpfulThis tuner is accurate and very easy to use (it has just a single button for turning it on and off), with a nice sized display. I have not had problems with the battery life as others have reported. I used the tuner pretty much daily for 9 months or so before needing to change the battery,

easy to use 0 people found this helpfulOnly 1 button to push for on and off and you can begin tuning your uke. I have been removing the battery after each so it wouldn't drain as quickly.

battery life is very poor 0 people found this helpfulIt's a nice tuner, except I've gone through two batteries in less than a year (and I do turn it off manually), so I'm going to chuck it and get a different brand. My other tuners (Meisel and Snark) are older, and I've never replaced batteries on them. Unfortunately I paid for the Oahu - it wasn't a throw-in.
