This is a brand new model from Pono that features all solid Bamboo wood for the body and neck. It's a look and tone that exceeds any Bamboo ukulele to date. This model features an impeccable gloss finish showing off the luminous channels of bamboo. The main word that comes to mind in describing it's tone would be - warm. It's a full body of sound, but is not as bright as or as loud as the mahogany or spruce. Just like all Pono tenor's, it has a beautiful voice. If you like solid wood tenors with great tone and unique woods, this uke is right up your alley. Take a listen!

A key feature in all of the Pono tenor and baritone models is the dual-action adjustable truss rod. This is used to stabilize and adjust the lengthwise forward curvature (also called relief), of the neck. It can be adjusted from right inside the soundhole with an allen wrench provided. This is something you will probably not need to adjust. But over time and with humidity changes, it is a very useful option to have, and a very easy thing to adjust with little room for error.

We set up each instrument to ensure you get the absolute best for your money! This includes Saddle and Nut heights, Fret work and intonation checks, and a thorough inspection for cosmetic flaw. And always, we are dedicated to giving you honest and expert service and advice!

We always include a humidifier with solid wood instruments. This is not an option, and we do not charge for it.

Ko’olau now only include their hard case with the Pro-Classic Pono series. You can still buy the wooden deluxe case or you can get the Canvas style hard case to keep your cost down. It still offers an excellent protection for this fantastic instrument. This one is great with a Low G also, so if you would like, we would be glad to set up it up that way for you. No charge just tell us under special instructions.
