Custom Tenor from Renown Guitar Maker- Pepe Romero
Pepe Romero is a custom builder from California. He just started building ukuleles earlier this year but they are already gaining notoriety as some of the best to be made. He is currently three years back ordered on guitars but had a desire to build ukuleles and has since became impassioned with this new instrument. We couldn’t be happier. There are only a few builders in the world making ukes of this caliber. This is the type of instrument you will never part with.
Pepe builds with a reverse fan bracing system that he designed and has proven to be genius! Basically, instead of fanning out from the soundhole area, the fan braces point toward the end block. This opens up the “sweet zone” on the top while still giving full structural support. Of course, for most of you, that is not really something you care to analyze. But the point is, Pepe Romero custom builds ukes differently than anyone else, and they sound amazing! I got to play his Spruce/Brazilian Rosewood model and it must have been the most open, vibrant uke I had ever experienced. There was something really special about this Koa one though. Perfect balance of highs and lows, warmth and clarity. It has a very low setup and is just over 2 mm at the 12th so it is a breeze to play and the tones keep you playing. Absolutely wonderful work and sure to impress those in search of the ultimate tenor tone.
This is a Tenor sized instrument and comes with a Deluxe Tenor hardshell case and a Herco Humidifier.

Oh yeah, just in case you are not familiar with PegHed tuners~
These are actually not friction tuners, They are a 4:1 gear ratio and work incredibly smooth!
