How often can you see your ukulele evolve from pieces of wood into a music making masterpiece. Plus, this has all the deluxe appointments!
First to catch the eye is the dark and exotic wood used for the sides and back. Granadillo is extremely RARE! It comes from South America, where it is highly regarded as the best tonewood choice for marimba and xylophone and is often referenced as “La Madera Que Canta” (“wood that sings”). Granadillo has been said to have a ringing, bright tap tone and is gaining popularity amongst American instrument makers.
We can attest to it's tonal quality being well worth the upgrade. It shows a rich depth, like exotic rosewoods, but still has the clean attack of Maple or Macassar Ebony. Granadillo is a very different and wonderful tonewood! This dream uke also has an upgraded Red Cedar top. It puts out a range and response that competes with the best of them. And it's got all the goodies...
....slotted headstock, radius fretboard, side sound port, K&K pickup, and Ameritage case. The works! We are proud to show you an instrument of this caliber, built with artist pursuit and meticulous attention, this is one of the best to come through. Hopefully we can continue to show you Jay's phenomonal ukes. Treat yourself if you can, this is well worth the price!
Includes a factory upgraded Ameritage case! (a $250 case!) and an Oasis Humidifier
