Koolau T2- Koa Tenor Ukulele w/Case

The T2 fits into exactly what a lot of us want in an ukulele. A modest yet radiant beauty. An elegant design and a serious tone. The T2 gives not just good volume, but “tone”, warmth, and sustain you wont find in the affordable realm. But, if you can afford it, it is totally worth every penny! This T2 will take your playing to another level with a sound that leaves you smiling. :) This is the level of ukulele that you love and cherish for many, many years, a lifetime instrument. This T2 Ko’olau is all that!, AND it will just keep “opening up”!, and getting even better!

This is available for order in two different Hawaiian woods. Koa and Ash.

Hawaiian Ash

This rare Big Island wood sounds like an old and mellowed mahogany wood. But the ringing sustain in the higher frequencies makes it sound entirely unique. And Beautiful! This particular Ash is "the cream of the crop". The curls will darken with time as it is exposed to light and be accentuated even more. It sounds superb now,  I can't even imagine how great the tone will be in 5 years! This is what I would call a wise investment. (Into your musical enjoyment, and into a Professional Hawaiian ukulele that will last many generations.

The T2 fits in between the T1 and T100 in the Ko’olau line. The T2 has a thin rosette that gives a nice aesthetic, but not as fancy as the 100 models Abalone rosette. It has upgraded Koa but rosewood for the fingerboard, bridge and faceplate like a T1. The T100 has ebony. The T2 also has more options available than the T1. This one has the pin bridge option (upgrade-$125).

Companies often focus on growth and the result is a crappier product. The quality that made them popular can not be maintained by loads of workers that barely know what they are doing.

Ko’olau became popular as a high-end custom shop, and there is really no way to have that quality with a high production. The bad side, of course, is that Ko’olau’s are harder to get with a more limited production. The good part is that you can get a custom built ukulele at a factory price!!

This T2 is a special instrument and a perfect new model that we are going to keep a standing order for. If you are thinking of a Hawaiian made tenor with gorgeous koa wood in a smooth satin finish and, of course, inspiring tones to take you away! Look at the new T2 Tenor from Ko’olau. The build quality is not your average. There is a precision to Noa’s work. Very clean construction. A perfect balance of weight, and a string to string balance that gives cohesion to chordal harmonies.

This is everything you need to take you away at the end of the day! You work hard, you deserve it ;)

At no charge we can set your Ko'olau up with a Low G, or alternate set of strings!
