Kanilea K1 Tenor Premium Koa- Satin Finish

Awesome value for this quality Hawaiian Made- Master Grade Koa Ukulele!!

There is no denying that Kanilea has some really, really nice Koa. We have seen it a number of times here and it is glorious to see natures beauty. This has tone to match with that big Kanilea sound that is full and powerful. Every time you see and feel an instrument of this caliber it is a wonderful experience. This gorgeous instrument won't last too long but feel free to contact us for next time.

So what is the difference between satin and gloss? Besides the look there is a more "woody" tone from the satin finish. Especially from Kanilea because it is an oil finish that protects the wood but gives no compression to the overall vibration. What you have is a very open and vibrant instrument. With the Kanilea company, either finish you pick, you will get a very open and vibrant tone. Either way you can't go wrong, but they are slightly different and both have their own advantages. The gloss is more resilient to scratching if you strum hard. Though the Kanilea satin is able to be touched up easier if it does scratch. No matter what the specs are, each instrument is individual, and this particular one sounds amazingly awesome!

This Kanilea K1-TP has amazing dimension and coloring that rival the look of any koa wood you will find. This is the ultimate in quality and value available to you from one of the world's best ukulele makers. Act now and experience it for yourself.

If you prefer a certain string set that the ukulele does not come with, then buy the strings you want from strings section of the site, and let us know (under Special Instructions) you want those on the uke. If you simply want your instrument to be a low g instead of high, it is no extra charge. You can specifiy in Special instructions below. If you are not sure, then check out this video blog - Comparing Hi G with Low GOther options include a passive pickup which is able to be installed in most ukuleles. Withe the purchase of an ukulele it is $100. This is the 4 individual crystal piezo under saddle Dean Markley/Pono Pickup. It is very clean and natural, or true to the acoustics of the ukulele. We also install the Misi Pickups and the L.R.Baggs active systems.

One of the options when you buy is to trade out the Herco, included humidifier, for the more expensive Oasis Ukulele Humidifier (OH-18). This is suggested if you live in a low humidity area.(parts of California, Nevada, Arizona, and like areas) including the drastically dry levels during winter if you are heating the air most of the day and night.
