A beautifully designed Polynesian etched Koa concert ukulele!

100% Hawaiian Made in a very "local" but unique style. This Polynesian design flows around the top and has a very custom look and sound. The tenor Island tat impressed us with fantastic tone and such is also the case with this concert. Kanile'a made two of these to show at NAMM, the annual music trade shop. We were lucky enough to get one and share such a great instrument with you. We gurantee you will agree that the sound is just right and the build quality is top notch. This hand built concert ukulele features Solid Hawaiian Koa, rosewood bridge and fingerboard, tusq nut and saddle, and a smooth satin finish. Plus, just like many cool musicians, this concert uke sports a killer tattoo!

Kanile'a will install a pickup on this ukulele and your warranty will not be affected. One of the options for this ukulele is to trade out the Herco, included humidifier, for the more expensive Oasis Ukulele Humidifier (OH-18). This is suggested if you live in a low humidity area.(parts of California, Nevada, Arizona, etc..) including cold winter areas if you are heating the air most of the day and night. You can still create a package with accessories on the site by going to different product pages and adding to cart. This ukulele will automatically come with a Canvas Covered Hard Case and a Herco HE-360 Humidifier. The options are just for convenience and to offer an extra discount while you buy such a beautiful instrument. Aloha! Custom Options You can have a Kanile'a pickup installed. This is routed and installed at the Kanile'a factory to fit absoultely perfect. This is a little more expensive than the installs we do ourselves and can add up to a week to the delivery. But if you want a pickup on your Kanilea, it is best to have Kanile'a install it. Kanile'a makes an active and a passive system. Kanilea will also install the MiSi -with it's rechargeable preamp,  or the new L.R. Baggs 5.0 ukulele pickup. If you want a different set of strings you can buy them at the strings section and just note that you want us to change them in the special instructions.
