Kamaka HF-48 Eight String Baritone

This is a rare Kamaka made with curly Koa wood and with a hum. The doubled string or 8 string concept works perfectly with the baritone size and scale. The first string has an octave high D and a wound low D. Then ther's a high G and a wound Low G. The B and E strings are unisone.

The high G string is the same pitch as the high G on a regular ukulele so this 8 string baritone has a full baritone sound but with the chime of a classic ukulele.

This instrument would work best with the MiSi acoustic Trio -with it's rechargeable preamp,  or the new L.R. Baggs 5.0 ukulele pickup. The Herco HE360, is the included humidifier. You can upgrade to the more expensive Oasis Ukulele Humidifier (OH-18). This is suggested if you live in a low humidity area.(parts of California, Nevada, Arizona, etc..) including cold winter areas if you are heating the air most of the day and night.
