This is a sweet sounding baritone ukulele. A clean and simple look in the classic Martin mahogany style. Very deep tone! We "dress" or level and re-crown the frets every time on this model. This makes a huge difference in sustain and the ability to get low action. By the time it gets to you, you will wonder how this can be so affordable. It's just a great deal. For a $200 Baritone with a solid mahogany top and a custom setup, it can't be beat!

The strings used are Aquila Nylgut baritone uke strings, which include a wound 4th-D and 3rd-G strings, and nylgut 2nd-B and 1st-E strings. The Baritone ukulele is the same tuning as the high four strings on a guitar. A 4th lower than a regular ukulele, but the shapes are all the same. The main reason you would want a baritone ukulele is because it sounds so dang good. It is significantly smaller than a guitar but still gives you a similar depth and color. The standard G C E A just does not do this, and vise versa. Both G C E A and D G B E are the same intervals but with a different key and tension. The same shapes inspire different composition. It is fun to have both a regular ukulele and a baritone ukulele. Both are equally, and uniquely ukulele.
